'Habemus Papam' - Francis I - "pray for me ..."

A moment of humility on Wednesday March 13th 2013: "Let us pray silently in this prayer for me!" At that joyful moment in time, we did so. He bowed. Our hearts collectively trusting in Divine Providence reach out to him. Beloved St. Francis, his patron, once said: "Dum tempus habemus, operemur bonum." ["While we have time; let us do good."] While we have time with this humble servant from Argentina, may we experience the good that can only come from above. May his ministry among us be fruitful.  "Ad multos annos."
In a prayer of Saint Francis, we join together:
"O God, who are all powerful, eternal, just and merciful ... purify, enlighten, enkindle us to follow your steps ..."

  2. In a moment of silence, the world stood in prayer, and the Holy father inclined his head in humble reception...a moment of Communion in the Church..."Ruegan por mi"...y el Papa y sus hijos rogaron usando las palabras de un silencio muy profundo...
