Summer time memories: weather contrasts

   Life is full of contrasts but nothing more dramatic than the weather! I do not often hear people say: "I love cold weather!" Yet, our lives can be patterned on summers and winters. Spring and Fall come in between leading to newness. The presence of such drama is always around. Summers and Winters are full of passion - we either hate or love them. People say here in the Midwest: "if you do not like the weather here today; you will love it tomorrow." Here lies a treasure of wisdom! The word is "contrast." Contrasting personalities sometimes blend beautifully. Contrasting weather certainly spices up lives. For me, life is never boring ... just too many contrasts to handle! I like the Italian saying: "Rosso di sera, bel tempo si spera. Rosso di mattina, la pioggia si avvicina." (approx. translated: "Red skies in the evening indicate hope of good weather. Red clouds in the morning announce a rainy day.") However, there is no guarantee it would happen in this manner!
   So, enjoy your nice weather today and hope for the best tomorrow! Ciao!
