I like Michael Mossiagin's photo above which he entitles, "old suitcase". I am reminded of travel this summer. I am also thinking of friends who move much in the course of their professional lives. Jesus moved around constantly in his ministry and taught us that "the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head." (Matthew chapter 8.) I remember my mother after she died. All of her personal belongings could easily have fit in this one suitcase. So many refugees are moving across the globe in search of security and carry, if they can, only one bag. Life is never easy when you are poor. When I travel this summer; I will use only one small carry-on and no complaints!
May our eyes never be closed to those less fortunate than us!
