Greetings! What a wonderful day to spend with friends and family!
In 1621, the early pilgrims to America celebrated their first Thanksgiving with the natives of the land.
In 1941, Congress then, agreed the 4th Thursday of November would be 'Thanksgiving day.'
Many events have come and gone; yet, we still hold on to an enthusiasm for America. Like all people, we have faults and weaknesses; but, we also have a spirit of generosity and gratitude. We choose this day to be "builders of relationships" and open to the gifts of each other in thankfulness.
On behalf of my family and friends, I wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving day, truly grateful for all that we have and the potential given to us to be worthy of trust and hope.
God bless America and all our friends around the globe.
Peace!
